Corrigan Pay sends payouts to contractors on behalf of marketplaces. Each new payee had to confirm two micro-deposits, which took up to two business days.
Corrigan replaced micro-deposits with the Sluice Link and the account details product. The payee picks a bank, approves, and Corrigan reads the account and routing numbers directly.
Verification now takes about 40 seconds. Returned payouts caused by wrong account numbers dropped from 1.6% to 0.3%.
